eBay Your Wedding, eBay Has Wedding Bargains!

Ebay is a treasure trove of bargains for your wedding day.
You can slash your wedding costs, stay in your budget and have everything you want at a fraction
of the price you'd pay in the retail stores.
If you want to make a unique statement at your wedding, you can find unusual and one of a kind
items.

Books and web sites are devoted to shopping
eBay for wedding day bargains. Its true, there are
bona fide bargains on
eBay and its fun!

On the other hand, you have to be careful of what you buy.  Some wedding dresses from China are
not the real brand deal, they are cheap knock offs. They use the manufacturers pictures and
deliver an inferior product.

Know your seller by checking their feedback. Feedback will let you know if your seller is
reputable. Don't be afraid to ask the seller questions.  Ask the seller if what they are selling is
authentic brand name.  And use common sense.  If its too good of a deal, its not a deal.  You aren't
going to get an authentic Vera Wang wedding dress for $29.95.

You CAN find a great deal on Ebay on name brand wedding dresses.  Many bridal salons sell their
overstock dresses and discontinued styles on Ebay for a fraction of the wholesale price.  Some
shops close and sell their dresses on Ebay.  A friend of mine is selling couture dresses for a $25
starting bid.  These are the real thing and they are new.  She closed her store and is selling off her
inventory.....she's basically GIVING them away!   Do your homework BEFORE you bid and snag your
deals!

There are great wedding accessories on Ebay.  I found custom made beeswax candles for
wedding decorations for a fraction of the price in stores.  I've seen tiaras that retail for over $200
selling for $25, I've seen Malis Henderson bridal veils that retail for $300 for $50.  Silk Salon
wedding  shoes that are $150 retail for $15.00!

Make sure you check out your eBay seller before you buy.  The feedback on the listing is a report
card on the seller.  The feedback is there for a reason. Also make sure of their return policy.
Many wedding dresses have a no return policy because of the nature of the item.  Its a white or
ivory dress, it can be damaged or worn before it is returned.  Read the fine print.

eBay Tips from us:

If you are buying a wedding
dress on eBay,  make sure
you pay attention to the
measurements on the dress
because wedding dresses
run smaller than everyday
clothes.

Familiarize yourself with the
company who makes the
dress before you buy it so
you have an idea of quality
and how the dress fits.

Sample dress means the
dress was used as a try on
dress in a bridal salon.
When a listing refers to dust
marks on a dress, it means
that the dress has marks on
the hemline or train that will
need cleaned.,

All wedding dresses will
need some form of alteration
to fit properly and will need
to be steamed or pressed
before you wear the dress.

Be careful of any dress that
comes directly from China.
Most are knock offs of major
manufacturers dresses and
the quality is lacking.  You
may also be hit with a big
customs fee for importing
the dress yourself.

Favors, wedding
accessories, veils and tiaras
can be purchased on eBay at
big discounts from retail.
There are also great buys on
flower girl dresses and little
girl shoes.

Comments from Brides:

I bought my wedding dress
from a shop on eBay that
saved me $400 on a dress
that I was going to order the
next weekend.   I was able to
buy all my accessories and
still have money left over!

I found favors on eBay that
were different from anything
I'd ever seen, and they were
personalized!

I wanted my wedding to be
vintage and unique and
wasn't finding anything I
wanted.  I found my dress,
shoes, hat, gloves on eBay!
Totally vintage 1940's and I
cried because I was to happy.

eBay is like a treasure hunt.
Sometimes you strike gold.
Sometimes you don't.  I
struck gold with ostrich
feather centerpieces.  My
reception was just amazing
and different because of my
centerpieces.  The ostrich
feathers were such a hit!

My mom found a new
Montage dress on eBay for
$59 and the dress sold for
$499 in stores...and it was
brand new.   She looks
gorgeous in it. What a deal.
All it needed were a few
alterations.  She'll kill me if
she knew I'm telling where
she bought her dress!
